Last week was the grand opening for our new library and media centers. This project was spurred from the Catholics Come Home Committee that felt a need to rejuvenate a sense of community within the parish. The announcement of this project and the need for books, audio CDs, DVDs and other items began an outpouring of materials to fill the shelves at each worship site. A team of dedicated volunteers inventoried, labeled, and hauled all the items.
The loaning system will be a simple one. If you would like to "check out" an item, just write your name on the sheet in the library at the worship site and bring the item back at a later date, leaving the item in the "Returns" basket.
Find the libraries in the narthex (main entrance of the church) at Queen of Apostles, Our Lady of Carter Lake, and Holy Family.
