Stewardship, A Path to Holiness - 2019 Stewardship Renewal

At Corpus Christi, we embrace Stewardship as the path to a holy way of life.  Reflect on the Time you spend with God in prayer, how you use your Talents in parish ministries, and what you do with your Treasure in thanksgiving for God's gifts.

We’re still in the midst of our annual Stewardship Renewal. If you haven’t returned your Commitment Card, you still can mail it to the parish or fill it out online. Returning your card is an important part of being an active member of Corpus Christi. Please take this opportunity to express your support for our parish with your time, talent, and treasure!

Welcome to Corpus Christi Catholic Parish Community in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
We serve nearly 4,000 people within our parish, including a growing young Hispanic community, and also support St. Albert Catholic Schools with 700 students within the Diocese of Des Moines. We appreciate you celebrating the faith with us in the beautiful city of Council Bluffs, IA; as the Bible reminds us, we have a mission to "Seek the well-being of the city to which I have sent you. Pray for it to the Lord. For in seeking its well-being you shall find your own.  (Jeremiah 29:7).  Corpus Christi is…

…a place of worship...    …a place of peace.…    ...a place of welcome.

At our parish, people of all colors, all economic backgrounds, from suburbs and from inner city neighborhoods stand shoulder to shoulder.  Together, we celebrate weddings, baptisms and funerals, Christmas and Easter, and the Holy Eucharist at daily and weekend Masses.
As we are aware of our shared blessings and brokenness, we deeply respect all of creation as God's own and we gratefully welcome all as Christ in our midst as we share hospitality, love, acceptance and care. During the Jubilee year of Mercy, Pope Francis urged us, "Let the Church always be a place of mercy and hope, where everyone is welcomed, loved and forgiven."

You are most welcome to contact our parish office at 712-323-2916 or secretary@corpuschristiia.com or send an email to me personally at pastor@corpuschristiia.com.
With blessings of Peace and Love,

    Parish Catalyst Training - September 15, 2018
It is the goal of the Parish Catalyst movement, which began here in the summer of 2018, that Corpus Christi parish may unite to form bonds of trust among its members and tap its unique diversity to evangelize and bring all closer to Jesus.  To guide us in this journey, John Pointevent from Parish Catalyst presented a wonderful day of training with our parish leaders on September 15th to lead and encourage us to create a parish culture of invitation and unification.
