Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is honoring the sacred presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. It is the contemplation of the mystery of Christ’s divine presence in the consecrated host in the monstrance. The reserved Blessed Sacrament serves as the focal point of personal devotion. During adoration, devotees spend quiet time before the Lord in meditative silence. “Behold I love you with an everlasting love and constant is affection for you” (Mt. 28:20; Jer. 31:3). Adoration is also expressed praise and thanksgiving with music and chanting of psalms. All are welcome!
