Sister Parish began in October 2016, following the Parish Summit, and encourages us to take the next step of being a global Catholic community. The committee discerned to partner our parish with the Missionary Sisters of the Divine Spirit and our brothers and sisters in Maicao, Colombia. Sister Parish is building a relationship and standing shoulder-to-shoulder, united in prayer, to enhance our lives and theirs. Sister Parish Covenant is established with Colombia in Latin America. This is done in partnership with the Missionary Sisters of the Divine Spirit in Colombia. In order to engage in world mission projects and establish a meaningful relationship with various cultures, religions, and human rights organizations across the globe, this twinning partnership is created. Various charitable, educational, and social justice issues are addressed, and projects are done in partnership with the people in Colombia.
